Located just an hours' drive from KL, you will be able to learn more about the power of good bacteria and how the latest technology is used to make Yakult.

The Yakult factory was built specially with visitors in mind - you can view the whole production process from a lobby on the first floor, through specially constructed glass walls.


What's more, you can even take a closer look at our bacteria using a microscope, enjoy fun and educational video shows, and sample some delicious, freshly-made Yakult! • Yakult Factory Tour FAQs

Where are the factory tours held? Who conducts the tour?
Fully trained staff from our Public Relations & Science Department conduct tours of the factory, which is located at Oakland Industrial Park, Seremban (near Seremban 2). Click here to download the factory location map.

What time are the tours held?
The tours are conducted daily on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 9am to 4pm. The factory is closed to visitors on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. However, we do accept tours on certain Saturdays, once a month. Kindly contact us for further information.

How much does the tour cost? Are there any entrance fees?
The tours are FREE of charge.

How long does it take?
The tour takes approximately 1½ hours.

How many people can join the tour?
We accept groups with a minimum of 20 people. However, we can make arrangements for smaller groups to join other groups of visitors. We can accept a maximum of 120 visitors at a time.

Is transportation provided?
No, visitors need to arrange their own transportation to the factory.

What about parking facilities?
Ample parking lots are available for both cars and buses, free of charge.

Who can join the tour?
Everybody is welcome to tour the Yakult factory. More than 1,000 visitors a month take advantage of this service. Many of them are students from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools as well as universities. We also accept visitors from various industries and businesses, clubs, organizations, consumers groups, families and others.

What do the tours involve?
Visitors will be able to view the entire production process of Yakult. Our high-technology facility incorporates some of the latest food processing equipment. The tour also includes a presentation on the background of the Yakult company and product, followed by an educational video show on the importance of good bacteria for a healthy digestive system. Visitors will then have the opportunity to sample our freshly made products. This is an excellent time for visitors to have any queries answered.

How do I book a tour?
Bookings are essential and can be made by filling in the booking request form and returning it to us by email or Fax. Confirmation will be made within 3 working days.

Why not make your trip to the Yakult factory into a full-day fun-filled outing? There are many other places of interest in the areas surrounding our factory. Among the other attractions nearby in Seremban are an aerophonic farm, an ostrich park, a crystal factory, a plastic producing factory and a museum.
